Young scientist workshop ( Friday 4/11 RAI )

The young scientist workshop is an intensive five days event for approximately 35 international PhD students and young professionals from the water sector. The topic is cross-cutting over water and spatial-planning domains. The outcome is a vision on the urban water system of the future under climate change, which will be presented today and published in a journal after the conference’s conclusion. Participants in the workshop will write on forehand a scientific paper on the topic of ‘Water challenges of urbanisation’ in which they address problems associated with the rapid growth of cities all around the world. The workshop is supervised by three water management professors.

During the week, the young scientist have worked towards a collective vision on the urban water system of the future under climate change. Today, this vision
will be presented to the conference delegates.
